Default What are some easy DIY's

This spring I bought a 1997 a4 1.8T quattro with 194000 km (120500 miles) on it. I am not a mechanic but I can turn a wrench and I am pretty good with my hands. However, I have limited tools (Large ratchet set with torxs keys, allen keys, open end wrenches, some pliars, and screw drivers), I also have a torque wrench, ramps, jack stands, and hopefully a vag-com in a week or so. My experience with working on cars is limited and my experience with audi's is about 4 months.
What are some easy and relatively cheap inspections or maintenance I could preform?
I have already done: Spark plugs
Fuel filter
DV
Air filter .................................................. ....... Thanks alot everyone: Luke

Thanks everyone. I agree detailing is very enjoyable, last week I did the whole deal. Wash, claybar, wax, and leather condition (however i was out of armour all so i did not shine the tires). I took pics that day so i will have to get the signature up and going!

I was wondering mostly if there are some mechanical things I should be inspecting, greasing, cleaing, or tightening ?

Turn up the boost ........im jk.

Before you do any modifications to your car, just make sure shes running 100%. All maintanence is good.
Fluids, plugs, wires, rotor, cap, filters, sensors, change hoses, whatever you need to do to make her perfect. Then, when shes 100% reliable, go at it.
