I have a 2001 A6, 6 speed manual. I had the dealer install a new clutch while i was out of the country....I came back and drove it today and its extremly hard to get into 3rd and fourth gear and if you can get it into 3 or 4 its hard to get out of them also you have to really slam the shifter hard to explain i am going to make a video here in a few minutes..... 1-2 -5-6 and reverse are smooth as can be

Ask them if they replaced the throw out bearing. Hopefully they replaced more than just the clutch disc. The throw out bearing is what gives the driver the ability to shift. If there was a new one installed, it may have been done incorrectly. Follow up with the company that performed the repair and get it redone.
