i have had my car for about 3 months now 66k miles and it is sooo quiet.

i am such a noob with cars...don't know sht.

i liek the soudn of the middle audi the black one...but my friend said i wont pass smoq check if i do what he has...

i don't care about power...the 2.0t is pretty fast for me and if i want power i'll just chip it lol

but how can i get that sexy noise and still pass smoq check i heard they ar e illegal? i live in california so idk.....

some ppl tell me just to get the tip etc...

can someone just tell me a name of an exhaust or whatever u need for a similar sound? like magnaflow 6253675326326 etc thanks! and the price $$ estimate lol.

again, i want it done where i wont have check engine light on and i will pass smoq checks. i dont care about power...jus the noise....especially when i downshift i'm sure it will sound sexy

 

To get the sound you're after, you need an exhaust system. Take a look at AWE Tuning, Milltek Sport, APR Tuning or STaSIS Engineering. They should all be pretty close in terms of price.

 

I missed the bit about the price, I can't say what it would be on a B7 A4, but My B8 S4 was about $1,700.00 installed for the AWE exhaust system.
