I recently just did my intake on my 2001 Audi a4 1.8t. I just took the airbox off slapped a cone on the end of the intake hose and between the hose and cone put the MAF in between and just threw another small cone on the 2nd hose. All I can say is do it if you want sound! Wow you can actually hear the turbo and the DV has a type of BOV sound. Also giving your engine a deeper tone when excellerating.
