Default K&N

was wondering if putting in a K&N airfilter into my car can cause any damage to the MAF or anything on the car?

i think all in all i wouldnt do it if i were you....i wouldnt want to risk it...cause there is a high chance no matter how little oil you use on the k & n it most likely will still effect you maf . on my car i have a evo intake with a custom filter from a local performance shop and its doing perfect...i dont have the name of the filter off the top of my head but if you e-mail me i could find it for you...

K&N is the best as long as you read the label and use the correct cleaning fluid ( oil is a poor excuse for those who didn't read the label ) use the proper stuff and its much better

As far as i know, there's nothing wrong with it.It ensures that everything that gets into and circulates within yourcar is free from damaging elements. K&N performance parts are tested for its quality. Why not give it a try?

I put a K&N replacement filter in my car after letting newspaper soak most of the oil out of it. I also cut a hole in the bottom of the airbox for more cold air. I love it, I love hearing the turbo and I love the power.

The K&N if used properly especially the oiling will not be a problem. I have used one for quite awhile now......no issues at all!

Well, if you want to waste your money and make your engine dirty, then buy one. Panel filters are worthless and addingone that you have to oilcan actually cause more dirt. Stick to a good paper filter unless you want performance from a cylindrical filter.
