Default test pipe or catalytic converter?

i like the sound of the magnaflow 14815 with the resonator removed but most people swap out the catalytic converter with a test pipe but im moving to a place that has emission testing so i cant get a test pipe. are there performance catalytic converters? i dont want to buy a system, just the catalytic converter. i have an 1997 audi a4 1.8T, if i have to i can get a test pipe and just use a different address for my car.

So what is exactly is the difference between a high flow cat and a test pipe? And would you be able to get straight pipe from any of those two deleting the down pipe?

Try using a spark plug spacer or 2 of them. Other places offer a J tube to keep it from coming on.

As for tuners, Unitronics offers that as a option on their tunes.
