Exclamation TURBO, plz help

ok i am going to be putting a new turbo in my 1997 audi a4 1.8t quattro and i want all or any advise i can get !! anything i should be weery of? or any issue that are common, any things i should do b-4 putting the new one on ANYTHING!! i do have the "sea foam treatment" and lucas synthetic with GTX high milage because it has 180,000 miles on it. but is clean and runs perfect and is flawless, (was owned by older couple and garage kept). but im getting off topic, but i was just hoping for any and all advise A.S.A.P.

Wrong forum. Go post in the "Turbo" section.

You could go K04 with a tune for some extra HP or you could even go with a Garret for more.

You can always get a K04 without a tune as it should last longer than a K03 granted you don't buy an ebay one.

Get a used one from the classifieds. I would suggest a K03-0029 as the best low cost option.

Listen, if your just putting on a new Ko3 then this doesnt really reply but if your looking for more power then go on the BigTurbo thread in the TT section... and ps its tough to swallow but with 180000 your looking at a complete engine build if your looking for alot more power, and even then... Dont push it
