Default VAST intake spacers

I just talked to a guy with vast intake spacers on his a4 2.8 and these are the only ones I find. They are for the 2.7t in a s4 so i guess my question is if these will still work on my 2.8. He said they made a huge difference especially in mid-range and my motor could benifit greatly from that hauling around a big heavy a6. Heres the link.

Please let me know what you think or if any one has these. Thanks, Matt.

i would really like more info on these spacers. i have herd about them and it seems like a very simple way of extending the power of the 2.8L engine. if the 2.7T spacer can be fitted for the 2.8L N/A engine that could be a good upgrade. let see if this thread can get some more info.

Why not contact VAST and ask them, They could probably tell you if they can bolt up or not.

They work but you have to get RS4 to RS4 spacers because the RS4 and 2.8 have bigger ports than the regular 2.7T. I am ordering mine this week.

I was actually looking into this for my 2.8, but I think im gonna go with the 034 motorsport spacers. Their spacers are only $85, the only diffrence is that they are 6mm and the VAST ones are 10mm. But ya let us know how hard they are to intall as well as how the car feels after. Cheers
