Hey Folks,

New to forum here but have lurked for a while for tips.

I need to replace the driver's seat in my A4 Avant and need some suggestions. It has a big split in the seat bottom and I hit a curb not too long ago that set off the side airbag, so the seat is pretty torn up. I would like to maintain the seat heaters, airbag if possible, so any suggestions. It doesn't have to be an Audi OEM seat either as this car has almost at 160K miles and I don't want to spend a fortune on it.

What years of A4 seats will work in a 1999?

Also, any after market seats that you can hook up the seat heater too? I am not super concerned about having the side airbag, so we can forget that.

Any recommendations?

Check your local Junk Yard or Parts Salvage yard. Should be pretty cheap. Or you could take out the seat heaters, re-wrap them, and put them in aftermarket seats on ebay or something.

That's what I'll do when I get to where you are.
