Double Din Aftermarket Stereo?

Hi all, I've recently become a owner of a 2007/08 A4 2.0TDi 170 and was wondering I currently have the audi concert system which has the sub and amp in rear wheel arch but does this class the same as the BOSE system as I can't get the wiring harness for one that does not have BOSE for the pioneer avic d3 that I'm planning on getting. Many thanks to any and all replies.
Why don't you choose an aftermarket head unit which can work with Bose or Non-bose vehicle?
audi a4 s4 rs4 dvd player w/ gps navigation system
This unit has 1GHz CPU, 512MB RAM, it can even support HD video(1080P). Totally plug and play.

i know a replacement stock radio needs a code to work is there anything special needed when installing an aftermarket stereo into our cars?? i gave my little bro my old A4 when i upgraded to my B8 and now his cd player took a crap on him.

Aftermarket head unit is totally plug and play, no need a code or anything else. All the accessories will be included in the package, such as power adapter harness, audio cable, video cable, maps card with your country map(upgradeable), GPS antenna, radio adapter etc. Even the four removal tools will be included.

Actually I had the same idea at first. I found a double din stereo I liked a lot, and bought a mounting kit for my 2001 A6. It was the same style that your talking about, a single hole with a cubby pocket underneath it. All you have to do is slice out the center piece that forms the two pockets. Then you can have a double din stereo. Ill post some pics of my stereo, although I ended up going with an Alpine deck. Great job as a salesman to convince me to change my pick =)
