Hi - the interior bonnet release lever has snapped off my audi TT 2007. I have a replacement part but the shaft won't fit back fully inside the mechanism at the side of the foot well (and is starting to twist again when I try to pull it. I want to take off the interior panel so I can access the mechanism and see whats going on. Does anyone know how? There are no obvious screws to release the trim and I don't want to start pulling too hard in case I break it.
