iPhone dock

Audimags- that's a very sweet install!!! Want to come do one for me??
I want to do the same thing with an XM dock! My parts to hardwire into the back of the headunit should arrive today.
How do you remove the trim around the gear shifter? You need to do that first right? Also did you drop the wire behind the climate control adn drill a hole in the ashtray holder (plastic part)?
If you can post a detailed write-up about how you did your mod, I'm sure it would help a ton of people and maybe even belong in the FAQ section! It's beautiful!

Hi Audimags,
I was thinking of doing the same thing at a different location (in to the little drawer under the vents. However my question is how did you hook the iphone to the stereo.
Are there any interference from the GSM?
thanks

When the iPhone is in EDGE, I do hear the GSM noise through my stereo. However, in 3G, the noise is gone... clear as could be.
