Angry Who steals a headrest?

I just bought a 2003 A4, it has 80,000 miles on it and I have only had it for a couple weeks now but somehow someone seems to have stolen the right rear headrest. I dont know how or why nor do I really care at this point...now what I need to know is whether or not the front and rears are interchangeable and where the best place to get one would be. I have the black leather interior if that makes any difference. Thank you in advance for all feedback

my question is, how did someone lose a rear headrest to need to steal another one?
That sucks man. Go to a junkyard.

yeah that is one of the many questions I have also wondered and after no real good ideas I finally decided to not worry and just move forward...before I go to the junkyard I am trying to find out how interchangeable it is(b6 to other series, front to back, side to side, etc.) Thanks for the reply

this may sound odd but my friend has a 03 a4 and we were messin around with his car once and wanted to see what the headrests would look like switched so we did it and it worked but it took a little pulling to get them out but they all fit.. i think it looked cool but he changed it back.

your right it would be kinda pointless to go side to side if your just dinkin around but then again it would be pointless to go front to back as well... i asked because lets just say perhaps i found one in a junkyard or something along those lines...and yes i know good luck fininding one in a junkyard but it would be nice to know i could swithc it if i find it

i dont think it would be pointless to go from front to back, we did it in my friends a4 and it looked cool with the front ones in the back and the back ones in the front. it reminded me of the 7 series my dad has. it was cool.
