Audi's in U.P. of MI?
Ha, oh man... my Girlfriends family is from Bay City, MI and I was driving around in a Saab, which is now GM of course, but I still felt like people wanted to key my car because I wasnt driving "American". after I bought an Audi when she told her family half of them didnt even KNOW what an Audi was!! i dunno if the U.P. is much different, but I can't imagine what it would be like to live there owning a non-American car
Wow makes me not wanna drive through there at all. Here there are alot of people that drive Euro and other imports. We have a Audi/VW Repair guy here that sells alot of cars to the local peolpe. He gets ton off out-of-town people from WI just to work on their cars because he charges so much less then dealers. He let me convert my 92 100s from auto to manual in his shop.
I went to NMU so im familar with the area. In the lower pennisula a lot of rednecks work the factory jobs and get way over paid. They become very loyal to chevy, ford, etc. They hate imports, but have never driven one. In the U.P. no one works for those companies and there is a lot of euro and subaru's.
it also snows alot and people need all weather cars, me and my audi would have been there last summer in houghton for school but i got screwed over and had to cancel my admission
