Hey Audi_noob, I think you PMed me about garage use, but my Blackberry deleted the mail on it when I was cleaning out days of junk mail from my phone... All I saw was your name and the PM title. Hit me back up, it's no problem for you to use it if you need it, just let me know what day(s)/weekend(s) and it's yours. Only thing I have scheduled is a leaky valve cover repair.

If you need any specific tools, let me know. I have access to more through friends, and can get any specific thing you need. I have several full sets of sockets, wrenches... the usual. Up to 3/4" drive if you need it...

On that note: If anyone wants to do a mini meet, let me know. Maybe Noob should post his dates here and we can try to get something together? nothing to bring a group of car guys together like some honest wrenchin'...

 

So on my 2.7T tip (even with a GIAC tip chip) I have problem whenever I put it in tiptronic mode and accelerate; it will shifts immediately from 1st to 2nd gear. I know if you have a vag-com and recode it this problem will be solved. My question is does anybody around the Columbus area has the tool and knowledge to help me out. Thanks.

 

I think (meaning possibly but more probably not) that onepoint8tee has a VAG-Com but he's really not on here that often any more. Kinda sad, I liked him.

rsrbljan, sorry I haven't gotten back to you. I'm doing a coilover install but probably when the weather warms up and I have some money to actually buy the coilovers. But I'd love to do a weekend meet or something. What weekends would you guys be available?
