Default Help with child safety locks

I read in the manual that your remove the rubber plug on the door, put the key in and turn 90° to the right as far as it'll go. Then you can open the door by pulling the interior handle twice. I did that, but no luck it just doesn't open.

any tips or tricks, is there a fuse related to this system?

I fixed it. Took door panel off and reconnected the cable. Works fine now...whooopee!

Oh, I definitely need to get something like these safety locks as well since my kids can get literally everywhere in the house. Especially since I bought them a playground from evas-brand.com, they seem to learn how to climb the walls. Which ones do you recommend? There are different ones, I can't choose
