Audi A4 06 Rear Door Problem
Hey i just purchased an Audi recently and im having some trouble with the driver side rear door. The door locks fine but when unlocked it will not open from the outside. The door does not make that clicking sound as ive it unlocked. Once the door is unlocked it will open fine from inside and out. If someone could help me out with the problem it would be great. Thank you!

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I checked my Bentley manual, which is kind of a bitch to use. I found that the '06 A4 uses two motors (solenoids) at each lock. One locks the door, the other un-locks. It sounds like the un-lock motor is either dis-connected or gone bad.
These motors are located right at the latch point. You would need to remove the inner panel to access them. The bad news is the motors are part of the latch/lock assembly and cannot be replaced individually. The only hope you have for a cheap fix is a bad connection. Don't assume that the fault in the circuit has to be at the latch area. Trace the wire back as far as you can, as it could be down around the hinge or wire passage into the door from the "B" pillar.
Good luck
