I asked them if they had any vag cables and they were like no (looked right at em) i then asked if they knew what the codes were and they said "you gotta take em to a deala" yeah i need a vag

I bought a ebay vag cable, and i love it. I can check codes, which is nice. I an also change some things - although not everything. I might buy the software to log after I chip- whenever I get around to that

Quick question for you guys - anyone ever replaced their valve cover gasket? Im pretty sure mines leaking, and I dont want to take it to the stealership, but would like some help/guidance/confidence if I do it myself. Just throwin that out there. Thanks guys.

Hmm, maybe I will give it a try soon. Kraut, im guessing you didnt have any problem taking the cover off and putting it back on, and have had no problems since?

Now I just need a torque wrench. Im sick of the oil smell!

i have apr tunning i like it alot....... search the fs section, you might get lucky like me and find someone that is selling their ecu already tuned, if not reid-vann can do it for you

i am doing my dp soon..... i have never done a turbo, but if you are looking to upgrade, wait till you get the turbo to do the sw..... or you can drop the 4999.99 and get apr stage 3, there is a guy over by me that has it and it sounds good

Sorry, but what is SW?? just wondering, but i dont have near enough money to do the Ko4 now, but I think i might buy downpipes soon. I talked to a guy and he told me most the exhaust is clamped anyway and i should just be able to remove and intall with out anything more than a wrench. Would the new DP's make the car sound a lot better? (looking at VAST DP's cheep, but people on a6 forums swear by them)
