and to go back up top,
rx's and supras have been doing this for a long time and i think it is great, but audi's are not "easy" cars to work with.......... you can hook up a saf kit and tune on the street like you can a dsm or some of the other cars....... so sure you can make a kit sure you can sell it, but till it is proven it will work and there is a company suplying programming.... not a guy selling a hack job kit i would say stay away from it...... if it was that easy with audi....... it would have been done before now..... the first bi turbo s came out in '94....... the first dual turbo rx or surpa came out in what early 90's.... when did they make the first single kit for audi v for those cars....... for audi they haven't for those other cars......... prior to '95 if i remember correctly....... if it was easy it would of already been done
you know why that guy has to leave his car with them for a week? i would say they are going to tune it with a dyno and hope they don't blow it up...... so he will not have a full potential tune.......... if it was their car and they blew it up, they would know where to drop back to and be safe, but good r & d takes longer than a week........ they might have what looks to be a good tune and then a week later boom his bottom end is dead or boom there goes a piston or rod........... spend the same amount or maybe a little more money and get a proven kit
like with korey and the s4 discussion....... i am older, wiser and just plain tired of saying the same thing....... if you wanna argue what i say fine....... but i have been into cars longer than you have been alive......... maybe even driving them that long......... if you don't wanna listen to this "old" man cause i don't know enough fine........ but i will not keep fighting a loosing battle, it is your money do what you want........ just don't ask for help when something goes wrong
