just got a 1999 audi a4 2.8l 30v with 101k recent timing belts and full service runs great, but pesky engine light on and abs comes and goes.

5speed manual blue on grey Love this car but already getting into repair bills.... Why oh why do these wonderful cars have so many quirks....

This is not the appropriate sub-forum but I'm curious. Why would anyone want to remove the oil or fuel fillter cap while the engine is running?
