First of all, thanks for entertaining a helpful place such as this, as a great resource for DIY folks who look for alternatives to "big ticket" maintenance sported by....dealer shops.
The "baby" is a 1995 A6, 2.8 L V6 sedan - no mods yet(automatic; a stick shift would have been nice, but the WAF -wife acceptance factor- weighted a lot in the purchase decision).

I've been a warranty administrator for a Caterpillar Dealership so I'm not an idiot around engines, but I'm lost under the hood of my girlfriend's late/early 05/06 A3 2.0T wagon. Hey all. I'm Larry. New Here. I have a leased 08 A4. I traded in my 2004 A4 cause my lifestyle changed and leasing was a better way for a newer A4. I like this site so far. Have a great New Year!
