Your post is only a link to a social media site. I viewed the opening page of the link (only) and get the impression that your car has been wrecked and you appear to blame Audi or something...? That's all I got as I do not patronize social media outlets.

Angry audireallysucks

That is not true at all and i am not promoting social media. I have owned 3 Audis over the past 10 years and had them all serviced by Audi. I have an 2006 S4 with 87,000 miles on it. Recently, the check engine light went on and they determined there was a pressure loss in cylinder #5 and that the engine need to be REPLACED. That's $17,000 plus $4,000 for labor for a car with a book value of $20,000!!!

The dealer told me that since I had been a loyal customer for a long time and that Audi S4 4.2L engines should last a lot longer, that Audi USA would help me out. After waiting over 2 weeks for a response, they came back and offered me $1,500 towards the purchase of a new Audi - WHAT??? I still owe $11,000 on the S4 and they want me to continue to pay $560/month on that loan and buy another one - that's how they help me??? You must be kidding. That why I started a Twitter microblog called @AudiReallySucks and you would too if this happened to you!

I'm sorry about your misfortune. It is unusual for a car [any brand] which receives proper service and usage to suffer catastrophic failure within 87,000 miles. For a manufacturer to offer a substantial discount on a trade-in of a 6 year old car in such an instance is also unusual.

Default I'm in love

Hey everyone! Pretty new to AF. I have an Audi A4 Quattro 1.8T. It's slammed with 17" Work rims. A VIS carbon fiber racing hood straight from Japan. Full Neuspeed exhaust system. 5speed and sleek! I'm in love but its a total love-hate relationship. I have had nothing but problems with it since I got it, but I enjoy fixing them myself! Check out my pictures of it!

Default C6 A6 2009 2.7 tdi quattro avant se

Hi. been waiting to get my new car for weeks now. it is a car from my wife's boss and we are gettong rid of my Freelander 2 after lots of problems. the new car has had Audi servicing from new and has covered 60000 miles. that is more than the LR but I am hoping for better longevity. The notable additions to the car are air suspension and the audi towbar. a couple of things too. shame it is silver and comes on standard alloys but at least it is the 190ps engine. more importantly 450nm! just two weeks to go before his replacement Bmw 5 arrives. hope it doesn't snow for him!

Hello,

I am new to this forum, so hopefully, I don't step on anyone's toes or violate any rules.

Anyway, I'm coming out of a 99 Saab Sportswagon, so I'm used to posting and reading on Saabnet. However, I'm looking to purchase a 2002 Allroad. I'm reading about these suspension air bag issues.

My simple question is, if the suspension air bags/air springs fail, since I'm not an off-road driver by any means and I'm not usually blazing down the highway, so I'm not in need of any spectacular aerodynamics, can the Allroad Air Ride be left alone for a bit and still be safe to drive? Also, I just wonder how many people are going for the regular conversion kit so they don't have to deal with the issue again.
