Boy do i know that road well even before the changes and earthquake cracks etc..
You know what im talking about.
Im sure you have many stories as do i about that traffic and road.

Way back in the day before the center barrier i was hauling *** to school, West Valley College from Santa Cruz (where i lived then) and i did two 360's of all places on the uphill approaching the summit while passing a big rig. I went acroos the other l;anes and backed sooftly into the hill. Would have kept going to school, but dirt got between a rim and tire causing a slow leak.

Another time I passed a slow driver who IMO cut in front of me way too soon so she could get around a big rig. I had time so i went around her on the outside. As i transitioned back to the fast lane to pass the truck, in the lane was the biggest damn dog i had ever seen lying dead. I had no choice but to run right over it. It felt like i went over a log. I think it was a Russian Wolf-Hound or something similar. Poor sucker I got airborn too.

More stories but thats enough LOL

btw, my brother who lives in santa cruz and works for the city of Scotts Valley has an FJ 1200.

jeff here - just outside of philly - had a handful of VWs (96 VR6 GTI, 2000 V6 Passat wagon) and a couple BMW e30 convertibles (currently still have one - bout to be for sale) but have been wanting an all wheel drive wagon for quite some time now (maybe forever) and finally took the plunge - 98 A4 QUATTRO WAGON!! black on black - so far so good - bout to take it in for timing belt and inspection (maybe a few other things) but should be a good time!

 

Im Andy I`ve has 2002 A4 1.8T and ive been looking for little things to do to just get some hp and get the car a little faster

MB here riding in a 2003 B6 a4. 5spd 91000 on it. So far have done timing belt, coils, rear shocks, new tires, redine tranny fluid. Headed to install new control arm package for the front in a few weeks. Looking forward to exchanging ideas and help with all.

hey guys. checking in from wheeling illinois (a burb of chicago) got my hands on a 200 audi a4 quattro 5 speed manual and ive never before done any kind of work on my cars besides a oil change. so I'm here to fix it and while im doing so hopefully upgrade it as well. I'm a hell of a driver/racer but need my car to be able to keep up with me

Hi Everyone I just got a Certified Pre Owned A3 2007 6sp Manual and I am in love. No Navi, no moon roof. I have always wanted an Audi. This is my first one and I know I will keep on going. I never had car love before (I had strong affection for my recently totaled Prius..may she rest in peace) but this is LOVE.
