Default '03 A4 I.8T CVT

Hey there, just thought I would introduce myself to the group. I got the car about 3 weeks ago, but haven't had the chance to take any pics. It's an '03 A4 Silver with the light gray leather interior. I hope to get some pics up soon, but so far I believe it's pretty much stock.

I think the first mod I will do is to have the lowers painted. Not sure why Audi left them unpainted, but it definintely does not look cool on lighter colors.

Just thought I'd say hello and that I have enjoyed reading the topics so far on here. I've been a member of forums on both RX8club.com and V6Performance.net before and so far I've found this forum to be the most useful.

Hey Bjayfry, welcome to the forums. Yeah painting the lowers is a pretty common mod around here.

Welcome to the forums!

How do you like the CVT? Have you driven other transmissions on the A4, and how do they compare?

Any mods in the future?

Cheers!

I have not driven other transmissions on the A4, but I love the CVT. Everything I've read about it had positive reviews, and I have to say it's the best transmission I've had on any vehicle so far.

As far as mods go, I'll probably get tint, have my lowers painted, and buy a bluetooth car kit. I've been reading about an airbox mod on here wuite a bit that sounds interesting as well, but I'm a little hesitant to start drilling holes or cutting anything on my car.
