Hope someone can help with this. My 1998 A4 (1.6 petrol) cuts out without warning (no fun in the fast lane). Tried diagnostic tests but nothing shows as it's an intermittent fault. Difficult to restart - eventually does but can cut out again at any time. Not sure if this is relevant but if I select reverse while trying to start - no dash lights show and it doesn't turn over - select another gear or neutral and all lights show and it'll eventually start. Thanks
