2001 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro
I'm thinking about buying a 2001 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro, 65,000 miles for $10,750 tax and title/plate transfer included. This would be my first Audi experience. I took the car out for a test drive and I was pleased with the the way it drove, but I decided to do some more research and found out that some people complain of electrical problems, poor gas mileage, expensive upkeep, timing belt issues around 70k miles, and little room in the back. The only things that concern me are the electrical problems and the timing belt issue. Has any one had these same problems or complaints? Any suggestions or comments on your 2001 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro experience would be much appreciated to help me make an informed decision.
Thanks, Scott.
Thanks, Scott.
Can't really speak to the 2001, but I think it sounds like a reasonably good deal, KBB is higher for that car too. I'd probably expect to spend a bit to get it through 100k miles though, maybe you can talk whoever you are buying it from down some more with your research. Welcome to the forums btw
The price seems reasonable. Might wanna check this out https://www.audiforums.com/m_700266/tm.htm welcome to the forums
