2001 Audi A4 - brand new engine!
whats up everyone, new to the board...i have a 2001 audi a4..its currently at the audi dealer getting a brand new engine..
i bought the car in about 2004 with 36,000 miles..i ran into a lot of problems with the car since then..luckily i had a warranty from the dealer so most of the expenses were covered although i did end up spending lots of money for things that werent covered...a red oil sign kept coming on and they supposedly fixed it..but after spending $600 to correct the problem, there was still something wrong with it..i gave it back to audi and they called in someone to check it out..and to my luck..they said i needed a brand new engine! theyre currently replacing my old engine which had 76,000 miles on it with a brand new one..for free!! its covered under their warranty..i had to spend $900 to replace the timing belt and all the stuff that isnt covered, they recommended that i replace those parts now because the labor was covered, all i had to pay for was the actual parts, like new pulleys, hoses, etc.
ive began to venture in customization..purely asthetic though..little changes and uplifts here and there..nothing major..ill post pictures when i get a chance
anyways, thats the story so far, im happy to be on the board
