Hi name is alfred. I (my wife ) has owned her '08 a/4 cabrio 2.0 cvt since new . Today she experience the car accelerating on it's own. Very scary. She is not a slow driver and likes to drive hard and can control a car really well. Is this an isolated incident of are there reports of this happening. No the carpet mat was not stuck under the accelerator. The tach registered 4g on its own. She has loved sriving this car from day one. As a matter of fact, other than the top not going down once, it has been a great car.
