Well im new to this forum and audi's. I recently purchased a 99 audi a4 because i simply love the look of it. Ive been having some trouble with me engine lately. Everytime I get into the car and start it all the lights for the different drives are all lit up. Its not allowing me to go into tiptronic at all anymore. Also when I was driving it, it was down shifting really hard when I would come to a stop. If anyone out there has any idea what it might be and what i can do to fix the problem let me know.

Well congrats on the new car. As for your problem, I have no idea. The best thing I suggest is take it to a dealer and find out, if you don't want to spend that kind of money may be you can find a cheaper shop that specializes in German cars. Good luck man.
