99 Audi A8 resurrected from death
Finally put together my 99 Audi A8 Quattro. Hell finding parts for her. Would have picked a different car if I knew how difficult and expensive parts were. But she is running great now.
Now I need a radio code. Car didn't come with manual and code not in trunk. Sacramento dealer wants car in shop for $250 for code. Wont give it to me any other way. Vin WAUBG34D6XNxxxxx Radio AUZ5Z6W0050513.
If anyone has access to this code, it would save an Audi lover hundreds. Had a 80's 5000 and 4000 quattro and loved them. So reliable. Will post pics of before and after. I still need a bumper if anyone knows of one cheap near Sacramento, CA

Congrats on getting everything mechanical with your car sorted. $250 is the going rate for radio codes from the dealer. I doubt that you will find anyone that is able to produce one for you otherwise as, it is my understanding, that the codes are obtained from Germany.
Your best radio option is to buy a replacement. OEM Symphony II assuming this is what you have, its only $40.
For your bumper, here in the East, Force Five and Shokan are good places to source salvaged parts. New Hampshire and New York respectively. I'm sure they would be more than happy to ship one out for you (assuming they have it, which they probably do) but shipping costs......
You may want to edit your post to remove your VIN. Unscrupulous types may take advantage.

Good looking out. As for shipping that bumper, its almost as expensive to ship and to purchase one. Been seeing them here and there, but want my tunes fixed first. looks like Audi of Sacramento is going to get my money.
