Hello everybody.
I own an A3 8l, 1.6 petrol 1997 model. Recently an problem appeared on speedometer clock(dashboard). When i drive the speedometer arrow is not showing real sped but about 20-30k/h less than real. Even when the car is off speedometer arrow stands below 0 k/h. I have compared with other similar cars but the speedometer arrow stands exactly at 0 k/h when the car is not running. Mechanics are saying than i have to change all dashboard clocks and as well as micro chip. Some are saying ABS speed sensor should be changed. Hell a lot of $.
Can somebody tell me if they have had any similar problem.
What might be the issue, Any info will be worth full.
