A4 Avant. 01. Oil Pressure
I am the owner of an A4 Avant, 01 with approx 70.000 on the clock.
I have a problem with theOIL PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT AND BLEEP.
This comes on shortly after starting up and stays on for differring lengths of time say 10to 30 minutes, sometimes longer.
However if I engage the automatic check button on the steering column it clears the lubrication system as OK.
Sadly I am not a gifted mechanic but I do love my Audiand I do find the above concerning/annoying/frustrating. An "Expert" recentlylooked at the problem and reported that he felt that it wasnt seriousand more likely to be a software problem which suggests serious expediture.
The oil levels are OK(inclining to the high rather than low) and there is no indication of over heating.
Perhaps there is someone out there that has experienced a similar problem if so I would be greatly obligedwith a reply/quick answer.
