We have a problem with unlocking our tailgate after the boot has been opened and closed once. When we unlock the boot with the remote key we can open the boot once but then when we shut the boot again we have to wait at least 30 seconds before we can open it again. This does not happen with any of the driver or passenger doors. It is as if something needs to recharge itself as when you try to open the tailgate either by hand or using the remote you can hear the motor running but it doesn't seem to be powerful enough.

Can anyone help?
