Just got my A6 (2000) but having problem with overheating as soon as I get going, temp goes way up. Have had new viscose fan roller fitted but hasnt sorted it,Second fan(air con?on left front as you look in)not kicking in, could it be a sensor or thermostat. is there any way to tell which it may be?

 

do any cooling fans work? A/C fanonly comes on when you use it, check your fuses for the cooling system and and ensure at least one fan kicks in when the engine is hot if none then there is your problem
