Hey all. I'm an engineering grad student in Fairbanks, Alaska. I'll be moving to Bakersfield, CA to work for Chevron as a petroleum engineer next summer. I had wanted a Subaru Sti for a long time, but that was when I thought I would be working in Alaska. Subarus up here are quite popular. But since I'll be moving to SoCal, getting an Audi just seemed to fit the landscape better.

My dad has a 2003 Audi A4 1.8t manual and ever since he got it I've loved driving it. It certainly beats the domestics I have driven all my life. I have my mind set on a 2009 A5 with premium pack and nav in dark blue. Bakersfield has a dealer, but my freind who lives me tells me that its a little small. Should I consider ordering one now or should I check out dealers in LA or the Bay Area?
