Default angry angry newbie

grrrrrr. new car. four days old. walked outside this morning and someone had "tapped" my back bumper. i can see a round bolt mark (from a licence plate probably) and another scratch on the bottom part of the valence (I think its called that). My frie[:@]nd said the damage is known as a "dimple" since it didn't really dent the bumper. im super upset! anyone have any suggestions? should i claim it? will I have to take the whole thing off and repaint? help! I got a couple of those when someone rear ended me one time. The body shop fixed it for $500, billed to the insurance, but all they did was fill the hold and paint it--didn't get a new bumper or anything. So if it wasn't going to insurance, you could probably talk them down a good ways. I got them to repair my front bumper in a much more severe way for $200...
