grrrrrr. new car. four days old. walked outside this morning and someone had "tapped" my back bumper. i can see a round bolt mark (from a licence plate probably) and another scratch on the bottom part of the valence (I think its called that). My frie[:@]nd said the damage is known as a "dimple" since it didn't really dent the bumper. im super upset! anyone have any suggestions? should i claim it? will I have to take the whole thing off and repaint? help! well Id see how much itll cost to fix then add your deductable to the amount youll pay more for a premium then see which ones higher.... yah youd probly be better off eatin this one..
I got a couple of those when someone rear ended me one time. The body shop fixed it for $500, billed to the insurance, but all they did was fill the hold and paint it--didn't get a new bumper or anything. So if it wasn't going to insurance, you could probably talk them down a good ways. I got them to repair my front bumper in a much more severe way for $200...
$500 deductable. damn city livin'! i think ill wait until it happens a few more times, which i KNOW it will, then eat the cost and fix it. hmmmmmm, body kit. that DOES sound tempting though. thanks for the advice!
