I've just bought a 1999 A6 4.2 V8 Quattro.
Wicked car, love it.
I want to do a timing belt job on it and have found a really good 'kit' from Blauparts.
Problem is, they only list a kit for cars with engine codes, ART and AWN.. My engine code is ARS.
I know in my bones that the ART kit will fit my ARS, I'm guessing there might be some difference like a computer or something but surely they're the same in regards to the timing belt and valve covers? But I need to be sure, NZ is a long way to send the wrong bits.
I've been to ETKA and other "search engines but can't find a definitive answer.
Is there anyone out there can tell me?
