Morning Audi Forum,

Looking for advise:

My Audi A5 (2010) had the oil issue that is commonly known and had the Pistons repaired and spent 3 weeks in the garage.

Week before last I got in the car in the morning and the engine wouldn't start. Local Garage stated the Timing Chain had stretched and it had slipped. I explained Audi had worked on this in the last 18 months and why would this occur. Local Garage recommended sending back to Audi, who have confirmed Timing Chain stretched. They are not taking responsibility and want me to pay £3k to fix the problem.

1) Anyone else had this problem?
2) I understand it has Tension parts, why wouldnt this stop it from happening

Any advice is appreciated as no expert and feel Im being taken for a ride.
