Audi a5 or audi s5?
Hey everyone! New to this forum and I like it. Plenty of info on here to know pretty much everything about Audi's.
I do have a question in hopes to get ya'lls opinions though.
I am soon to buy a new car and it has come down to the 2011 AUDI A5 or the Audi S5.
Main difference that concerns me is if I really want a gas guzzling V8 as apposed to the A5's V6.
It would be nice to have the more horsepower and what not, but I can always turbo the A5.
Another thing is, the S5 is definitely more appealing to the eye than the A5.
Questions are:
How much would it cost to make the car look like the closeup Audi picture I have attached to this thread?
What specs are totally different from eachother? Body wise and engine/suspension wise?
What vehicle would you choose and why? And I'm probably going with WHITE color too.
Thanks everyone!

Welcome to the forums.
The pictures you posted are completely two different cars. The first picture is a Rieger A5/S5. That whole kit (if you get the original) would probably cost somewhere around 4000-5000. The second picture is basically a stock S5 with wheels and some low. All you'd need for the second one are aftermarket wheels and probably a set of coilovers. The price will vary for this.
As you already know, the S5 and A5 have different exterior. The interior between the two are also different. Also the S5 will come with sportier suspension compared to the A5.
I'd personally choose the A5 in 2.0T. The turbo models will have different aftermarket parts/support and will probably be the most mod friendly out of all the engines.
