Default Audi Newb

I've been a long time Volvo driver, but I'm thinking of switching over to another brand, quite possibly Audi. I currently own a 99 V70 AWD, 99 V70 CX, and a 84 240TIC. The 240 was my favorite before it succumbed to rust. The two V70s have been driving me nuts with repairs, and I can't see myself buying anything newer based on reviews. The repair frequency was much less for the early 90s models that I owned. So I'm looking at jumping ship and picking up a A6 or Allroad. They both have excellent reviews, but I don't have much "hands on" with them. What should I look out for?

Look out for millage, the big thing that Audi did was make the engine an interference engine so about every 70K you'll need to replace the timing belt or risk it snapping and then destroying your head. With those two options I would try and get the 2.7T engine. Also Audi's are kinda repair happy when not taken care of properly so you should make sure the car was well cared for by the previous owner.
