Good morning all, I am considering buying a 2008 Audi A4 Quattro Turbo with just under 105,000km on the clock. I currently drive a 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer VRX. I have heard differing views on whether the timing chain should be replaced, it hasn't been and Audi advised the current owner it didn't need to be.

I guess I'm a bit dubious as the repairs that would come from not having it replaced could be extensive but I don't want to spend the dollars if I don't have to.

Advice on the timing chain and any general advice on things I should look for on an Audi A4 would be appreciated.
