I recently purchased a red 1996 A4 2.8 quattro. To start i'd like to point out that I am in no way a car junkie, and you could assume I know pretty much nothing about cars. However, I tend to research in depth everything I own and I will probably be familiar with everything about my vehicle in no time.

I am a second year college student with no income but I do intend on dropping some cash as well as whatever wrench time needed on this car as I want it to last.

The car has 288km (more than I had hoped to have for a car but nonetheless), and the body is in great shape for it's year. there are minor cosmetic problems that I intend to fix or replace as soon as possible.

Also, as of today, I found that my clutch was slipping (SH*T!) so right off the start, i'm going to be taking apart the clutch and replacing it as well as the timing belt (as I have been informed should be replaced) as well as anything else that appears to be warn or need replacing. I hope to find as much info I can about the clutch replacement on the forums, as well as share my pictures and experiences of fixing and modifying the car with the audi community.
