Brakes!
I did my rear brakes this weekend. Let me say, it should have been easier.
A couple of notes for those thinking about doing this project:
1) It IS easy. Don't let anyone else scare you.
2) You will need a 1/2 in socket, 3/8 drive ratchet, 3" extension, 15mm wrench, and standard lug tools.
3) Don't waste your $10 on that special tool from the parts store... that cube looking thing. The pins don't fit the plunger notches. It's a pain in the rump to get the plunger to turn because those pins don't match exactly.
DO, however, invest in the proper tool. Trust me, you'll replace brakes more than once, and you might have friends you can lend it to for a couple bucks... buy the toolkit. It will make the job so much easier and faster.
That's my soap box. I hope you enjoyed it.
