Default CarFax "Electrical system serviced,"What does this mean?

Hi,

This one particular 2002 TT (37K miles, 2 owners, CPO warranty) I'm interested in, has the statement "Electrical system serviced" listed 4 times within the CarFax. I checked a few other TT's and the same statement was used only about 1-2 times.

Does anyone know what that is referring to? Would you consider this a "red" flag to stay away? I don't know if this something simple/common, or if this car has had a hisory with its electrical system...

It's a 2002 Audi TT Quattro 225hp, CPO warranty selling for $21,999. Not sure if this is to good to be true []

Your input is greatly valued!

Thanks,

Vake J.

You should post this in the TT forum.......or electrial forum. The means some electrical work was done in the car, probably previous owner did some aftermarket work on it and made his interior electral system burn. Or it could be something else, don't really know. Sorry[&:]
