thats because there isnt one its basically a sealed unit but there is a plug on the bottom of the tranny but it probly wont help you

the way the dealer checks the fluid is by putting you car on a lift hooking up to a computer to read the transmision temp and when the tranny reaches a certain temp they open this plug. then if the tranny fluid drips out slowly its ok if it pours out theres to much if nothing comes out they slowly put some in until it dribbles out

easy huh

Good description. Don't forget there is also a small drain plug. I know cuz I opened it one day by mistake....imagine my surprise.

Audi considers its auto tranny fluid a lifetime fluid.

Audi's automatic tranny oil is not your typical oil - it is mineral based and has a very long life expectancy. That said - I would change it at around 100K miles just for piece of mind anyway.
