I bought my 01 A4 in Nov. of 06' with 90,000 miles on it. It was meticulously taken care of, looked and drove like new. since then I have put 35,000 miles onto it. In the past 3 years I have put timing belt, alternator, the A/C condenser core fan went out, and I am in need of changing the power break booster, a CV boot and front lower ball joints. Now on these cars, all that adds up to a great deal of money. so my question is;

How long do these engines and more importantly Transmissions last mileage wise?

I love my A4 and how it drives but I also want it to not empty my bank.
