Default Fault with Audi A4 2009 TFSI

I recently bought an Audi A4 1.8 2009 TFSI at auction. The car sounds fine at idle no warning lights light up on the dash and starts straight away. However when I pull away a loud noise that sounds like a wheel bearing comes from the front of the car and it gets worse as I speed up. The car also appears to be in limp mode doesn’t Rev properly and takes ages to build up speed. We took the wheels off and couldn’t see anything wrong with the bearings does anyone have any ideas ?

hey Ricky, had a similar problem with my 2009 a4. I know this is a little late, but if you don't have any tire pressure indicators, it may just be a loose flap. This happened to me on the highway at a high speed and it would be most noticeable from 25-75 mph. 80 and above kept the vibration/flapping to a minimum. Took it to a mechanic also wanting to swap my coil pack out and it turned out a flap was just loose.

also, what does the noise sound like? does your acceleration feel like loss of boost or...?
