Hi guys, i'm no new member to the forums, not quite active as well ... BUT I've gotten my ride! Its a 1997 A4 B5 1.8T. I've been working on this since last October, but getting cars over this side of the planet needs some serious time and money.... and not to say those extremely corrupted, inefficient government officials here.... ANYWAY .... all this hard work pays off ! The car is straight stock .. not thinking about modding it yet, had to ensure money well spent on everything within the engine bay first (not to chipped it, but to make sure it wont fail me half day through..) not to scare you guys off but the weather over here (around 28' Celcius to 34' Celcius FOREVER) is no joke for American/European cars ... Welcome back! Clean car you have there. I have to admit, you're getting raped on a 7 year repayment plan ? You may want to look into refinancing but then again, I don't know the situation in Malaysia. Thats just my opinion. BTW..nice website.

 

nah~ 7 year repayment plans are normal in malaysia... some go to 12 years ! cars in m'sia are freakinly expensive given our standards of living are quite low... The new Audi A4 B7 2.0TFSI Quattro costs around 78,000USD over here......

My air-con hoses burst, fumes and vapor came through air con vents, steering wheels.... all meter gauges were down, wiper starts to work on its on will ...... eventually towed my car to a very trustworthy workshop... had it fixed, however, the heater is out .... (who needs a heater in malaysia anyway? noticed the tropical backgrounds in the pic? hehe) well, glad that my car's fine now. still long way to my ultimate dream :
