Default first Audi...First post

I recently bought my first Audi..a 1990 90 series, front wheel drive in-line five...not the quattro tho sadly.[X(] If anyone has personal experience dealing with issues prevelant in these models, I need and will appreciate all the advice I can get. If not; links or a guiding hand in the right direction would help greatly. I have electrical issues...fan running until the battery dies after key is removed, fuses blowing weekly, one rear fog light and one front turn signal not working, stuff like that. Obviously I'm not a mechanic, but I do want to fix everything myself as much as possible. Thanks for the help.

thats the same car that i used to have, sold it in July of this year. It's a great car when i sold it it had 185,--- miles on it. sorry i cant help you on the electric problems, i never ran into them but id recommend just taking it to your local auto mechanic and have him teach you a thing or two so in the future you will be able to tackle the problems yourself. have fun with the car!

btw how many miles you have on it?

I just broke 66,000 miles...I pulled out the fuse that controls the fan's full speed mode and decided to watch the temp. for now. Being as it's like 50 degrees it hasn't been a problem yet.

Hey welcome to the forum. Make sure you post your questions in the correct forum. The people who drive your car usually don't frequent the "Introduction forum".
