Default First Audi Q7

After driving Lexus & Acura, I have chose an Audi. A 2008 Q7 3.6L Premium. I do love the look and drive of the vehicle, however I feel confused with the options (mostly interior). The MMI controls, including basic radio & heaters controls are so different from Japenese made vehicles. So with a little help from this Forum, I'm hoping to become an Audi fan.

be sure to check out the Q sections of the forums. don't have the MMI so I can't comment but I have seen a couple good discussions about some of the issues it has. most common solution is take it to the dealer and get the software upgraded to the latest version

Software upgrades are something I have seen a lot of as a common solution. I would definitely try this.

Also would love to see some pictures of the Q7 when you get a chance.
Welcome!

Thanks for the help & thoughts regarding the software upgrade. Have an appt w/ the dealer next week.
The 'Q' is dirty after the weekend for pics, I'll post after she gets a bath.

SUVs are never too dirty for pictures, even luxury ones.

welcome to the site, i'm pretty jealous you have a q7 as if I go back to Audi, the diesel Q7 is high on my list of things to look at and possibly get.

Thanks CAB509! I promise pics to follow.

I drive my 'Q'. It is luxurious, Yes! However I drive it, like I stole it. It's all about the performance! And hands down this SUV performs better than any other SUV I've had. I sports car feel, in a SUV. Best of both worlds!
